Smoked Gold Fish Crakers

Smoked Gold Fish Crackers: Hickory Ranch Ingredients

  1.   22 ounces cheddar cheese goldfish crackers

  2.   1 ounce ranch dressing mix

  3.   3 teaspoons dill weed

  4.   1⁄2 teaspoon garlic powder

  5.   1⁄2 teaspoon lemon-pepper seasoning

  6.   3 tablespoons GSR BBQ Rub, Foothills, Timberline or Summit Peak                                                                                                                                                                                                                 
  7.   1/2 cup Olive oil


  1.   Place crackers in a large bowl.

  2.   Combine the remaining ingredients in a seperate bowl.

  3.   Drizzle over crackers and toss to coat evenly.

  4.   Transfer into your BBQueCan about 1/3 of this batch.

  5.   BBQ, Smoke or roast at 250 degrees for about 15 - 20 minutes rotate

      mid way.

  6.  Cool completely and store in an airtight container.


Spice it UP!!!

Add to original recipe:

  1.   1/4 cup jalapeno flakes

  2.   1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

  3.   1/2 tablespoon crushed red pepper

Just add the spicy ingredients to the original oil mixture, I like to let it stand for a bit to let the jalapeno flakes mix and add flavor. Try all or some of these spices at a time..
